# 08 Signal

**Type.** One system stack (`-apple-system, Segoe UI, Roboto, Helvetica Neue, Arial`) at weight 800 with tight negative tracking, plus a mono stack for the prompt block. The whole design is size contrast: display runs 29px to 83px, body sits at 12 to 16px, and the seat count hits 121px on a phone. No web fonts, no requests.

**Palette.** Black `#000000`, white `#ffffff`, one signal blue `#1d4ed8` used as full-bleed blocks rather than accents, plus `#93b4ff` for blue on black and `#3a3a3a` / `#d2d2d2` for quiet text. Light theme, chosen and committed. Blue was picked over coral because white on `#1d4ed8` is 6.7:1, so a colour band can carry body copy, not only headlines. All 18 colour pairs were computed, lowest is 3.13:1 on a UI edge and 5.02:1 on any text.

**The idea.** Campaign energy from typography and colour only, never from the words. Every section owns a band and the page alternates white, blue, black so scrolling has a beat. The numbers are the argument: the proof strip runs at 15vw, the 90 minutes are drawn as a five-segment bar to scale, and 612 seats is the biggest number after the headline.
